She is Dentist III at DOH-CHD-CAR. In view of her expertise, she is multi-tasked as Program Manager for Oral Health, Men’s Involvement in Reproductive Health, and Health and Wellness for Senior Citizens. During the Covid19 Pandemic, she was Logistics Chief to the Emergency Operations Center.

Her leadership is manifested in the various innovations and initiatives that improved dental status in communities such as the issuance of ordinances on Annual Celebration of Oral Health Month. She represented the region on the public consultation in the crafting of the IRR of RA11299 and preparation of Guidelines on the Allocation and Utilization of Mobile Dental Vehicle.

She likewise volunteer in civic and community services with GOs and NGOs. Her initiatives include the Search of Orally Fit Child, Ngiting Tsikiting: Making Dentistry a Public Health Trust, and Anti-Cavity and Momma Cessation Campaign to prevent the incidence of oral cancer among the youths.

With her unwavering commitment to serve she was given countless awards from local and national institutions such as the Presidential Leadership Citation as Dentist of the Year, and Recognition as Chairman/Initiator for Ngiting Tsiking Project.

Anabelle also won various awards in beauty contest ever since she was a student. She was once a Mutya ng Pilipinas-Regional Semifinalist representing the Cordillera.

She is married to Rex John G. Bawang, also a BSU alumnus.
